E-Bikes for utility and work efficiency!
SolarNinjas loves to build cool stuff. We were super happy to turn these utility frame E-Bikes into powerful water haulers for watering planters and trees in urban environments.
Each bike is powered by a 48 Volt lithium battery and can haul 700 pounds of cargo. That means up to 60 gallons of water plus a heavy rider with personal items.
These innovative bikes can use pedal power, pedal assist (power is added to your pedaling) or *and this is new* FULL electric drive. Just turn the throttle and you’re going up to 32 KPH. They have a reverse gear as well so you’re always able to move around. All 3 wheels have impressive disc brakes and they handle remarkably well for a trike built out of such robust steel!
We’ve outfitted these machines with a Solar PV Module and high power AGM solar battery with an electric pump that can help the watering attachment shoot anything from a soft shower to a hard jet up to 30 feet without ever needing to get off the bike, and will last days. For safe storage we’ve included a 2A plug-in battery maintainer to reduce maintenance and allow for storage in non heated environments out of season.
The bikes come with 2 USB cellphone charger ports (one of them solar powered) and a lockable lunch box customized for this design to allow secure personal item storage as well as food for the day… further reducing costs and time waste. Never out of range, never out of communication! GPS Trackers are also available and easily integrated.
What this new E-Bike allows for is seasonal workers to independently care for street gardens and plants in an area quickly, with a nearby heavy water truck doing other work in the community nearby. Eliminating multiple large heavy trucks and expensive crews for minor tasks in areas where they might not be suited to operate…needing to navigate long hoses around obstacles, being unable to drive in tight areas with bike lanes or pedestrian zones, or social distancing areas…in parks and around city amenities where these bike units could operate with ease.
These bikes could be equipped to provide supplies and equipment to an entire first aid team scattered throughout an event..dispatched from nearby over radio. They climb hills like a boss and move between terrains nicely.
People could use them for selling products, treats etc in parks or giving shuttle rides to up to 2 adults or 1 adult with 2 kids from one park to another like a green powered mini wagon ride with customized seats.
Delivery drivers in urban centres could carry 3 to 4 grocery deliveries or hundreds of prescriptions securely and quickly.
Sports teams like bicycle clubs, running squads, olympic athletes can use them for longer distance outdoor training to deliver supplies and equipment to the next stage location and back to the base vehicles without emissions.
Warehouses can move large volumes of product around with limited energy and less risk to workers.

These make social distancing possible for service workers as a single rider is required to operate instead of a 2 to 3 person truck crew, and one person can fill or charge it.
