If you have to sell, it should bring the homeowner comfort that their home will list as a revenue generating property, that with solar the electric bill is controlled or eliminated, and that they are on the leading edge of high value based sales metrics which attract more motivated buyers.
Edmonton area (and in most of the province) if you can face solar panels anywhere from East all the way around to south or West you have good reason to be generating your own power.
The solar power rebate is expected to cut costs of home solar panel installations by up to 30% and up to 25% for businesses and non-profits. The Government of Alberta recently announced a rebate program for homes and businesses to install rooftop solar panels.
SolarNinjas was the right company for us. We wanted someone who could guide us through the process and who would teach us enough to make trade-off decisions around cost, generation, quality and aesthetics. We felt comfortable with the choices we made, understanding the implications of those choices. The experience was even fun: from picking the materials, to choosing how many panels to install, to watching them go up. At the end of the process we have a working system that we trust and believe in, a heightened interest in how we use our energy, and a new party trick where we get to show our friends how much power we generated that day. Our experience was excellent. We will trust Solar Ninjas with our solar needs in our next home.
We had the pleasure of working with SolarNinjas on two occasions. First was the installation of a charging outlet in the garage for our electric car. This included the upgrade of our main electrical panel for additional capacity, and to future-proof for the addition of Solar PV. The second engagement we had with SolarNinjas was to design, supply, and install a Solar PV system on our house roof. They were very professional, knowledgeable and thorough from the initial planning session all the way through successful installation and testing. All Permit/City/Inspector interactions were handled on my behalf making the entire process seamless.
We had a very challenging installation site. Aluminum shingles, very high roof, required extra coordination with the shingle installers, warranty details, and repeated interaction with city officials.
Mike and John took care of all of it with humor, integrity, competence, and remarkable perseverance. We were truly amazed to see them work.
We would highly recommend Solar Ninjas to anyone considering installing solar in the Edmonton area.
We gather some basic information and get a little more familiar.
After establishing the clients goals and values we use the latest in aerial and satellite imaging to map and measure the site. We custom design and lay out every array, no cookie cutter kits and no shortcuts. We’ll then meet and present options to the client and discuss. We use the best equipment and practices so your installation lasts a lifetime and impresses with performance.
Deposits are paid, permits are pulled, engineer stamps are applied as needed, rebates process is begun, regulatory approvals are submitted, materials ordered and work is scheduled. We do it all and provide a turn-key service.
Our Ninjas install wiring, anchors, racking, solar modules and monitoring. We tuck and hide everything seamlessly and pass our inspections with flying colours then activate your system!
Final invoice is sent and paid, we complete the rebate process and revisit the site to ensure everything is running smoothly. A documentation package is issued to the customer including warranty information, specifications and features. We’ll have a fun session demonstrating your monitoring apps and making sure you’re comfortable before closing business. After this we will monitor the health of your system online periodically and receive notifications if there is a failure. We are here for your questions and value your referrals.
