The Business Energy Savings Rebate program is a cash rebate system that we are able to stack on top of other incentives like the Edmonton Building Energy Retrofit Program which you can learn about here.

- Energy Savings for Business Rebate is a simple cash rebate for many efficiency upgrades
- We can combine this program with other rebates (BERA), up to a certain % limit.
- Small and Medium Business is a key focus with new lower minimum application sizes
- SOLAR ENERGY Installations are generously covered by this rebate
- $55 Million is available, first come first served.
- Pre-approval process is recommended but not required.
- Labour, materials and even pre-engineering or design costs are included in this rebate.
- You can receive up to $250,000 for one site, or up to $500,000 for your entire company making $1 Million+ building upgrades more attractive. Rebates start at $1,000 making even small retail LED lighting upgrades an attractive option.
- The client is in charge, you control the application and the contractor supports you.
Federal dollars from The Low Carbon Economy Leadership Fund have made this program happen and many of these tax dollars came from Alberta so we like seeing them come back in a way that avoids future costs and creates local jobs. Let’s see more of that happening here!
